🥺🥺🥺 oh we miss daddy but we’re so proud 🥺🥺🥺 oh we miss daddy but we’re so proud of him and we love this life of ours, even on the HARDEST days (and there’s a lot!!!) Levi is obsessed with all things military. In fact, he carries this little model soldier around that’s no bigger than a penny and it resembles his dad. He NEVER loses it for long. He’s got a couple of them and they go everywhere with him. He calls it “guy” and we think it’s his way of keeping daddy with him at all times 💚🤍 Stephen sent him this book and to say he’s obsessed is an understatement. His vocabulary of the pictures is incredible! I can’t wait for his daddy to come back from deployment and see how much he’s changed and talk military with him 🥰🥰 Does your son love cars & trucks?? #deploymentstrong #militarykids #militaryfamily
Saturday’s are for hiking 🥾 🌲 🏔️ Lov Saturday’s are for hiking 🥾 🌲 🏔️ Love these little people so much even if they ask for a snack every mile for 6+ miles, need lots of breaks & only finish the hike if I promise to get them a cake pop from Starbucks 😝🙄 my Lillie girl hiked the most she’s ever done(almost 7 miles) which makes me so excited for the summer!!
🥾 Lovell Gulch Loop hiking trail in Woodland Pa 🥾 Lovell Gulch Loop hiking trail in Woodland Park, CO I wanted a long hike for our Saturday adventure and I hit the nail on the head with this one bc it was definitely long and exhausting 😂😂 but the views were great and now I’ve got 2 exhausted kids, 1 exhausted dog, & wait…now I’m exhausted L O L Anyways…to the important stuff! 🅿️ parking is free and there’s plenty of parking, because it’s a lesser known trail IMO 🐶 dog friendly, on a leash 👧 kid friendly, I would say they need to be pretty good at hiking (for reference, Lillie just turned 4 last week but has been hiking her whole life) 💐 the wildflowers are beautiful on this trail right now! We found Iris, Thermopsis, dandelions & castellija 🔄 Counterclockwise is the easier way to do this loop, verified myself after reading tons of @alltrails reviews! There are lots of off shoots so I recommend having your navigation going in the AllTrails app Will you be adding this one to your list? #lovellgulch #hikingadventures #woodlandpark #coloradosprings
Did you know that you can go to your local militar Did you know that you can go to your local military base Leisure Travel Service to get your Disney tickets and save a ton of money? I just purchased my tickets today for September and saved almost $50/person. Now if you have a family of 6, that adds up quickly! No appointment is needed, but you can always call ahead! Fort Carson Leisure Travel Service (@carsonmwr) is located right outside of Gate 6 off highway 115. It’s a brand new building and the ladies in there are so helpful and nice. They can also help with professional sports tickets, ski passes, and local state attractions. For a full list of pricing just google “your bases name + leisure travel services”. While I can’t help you book these military rate tickets, I CAN help book your resorts, dining plans, transportation, flights, etc for Disney, Universal, Legoland, etc. and I’m happy to work with you on the military discount for those 🤓 contact me for more information or visit the link in my bio to get started!!
I kept both kids home until they were at least 2 y I kept both kids home until they were at least 2 years old, and for that opportunity, I feel immensely grateful 🥹 but I’m here for the new chapter of life - the one where I help bring in an income to our family. Our life has been so much less stressful financial wise once I went back to work. Evan’s Army Hospital has always been really good Evan’s Army Hospital has always been really good to us and I know for some it depends on the day, the circumstances, the doctor, etc. but we’ve been consistently happy with our surgeons. I’m so grateful for the environment and the reassurance they provide to our family. It hasn’t been this consistent other places we lived (ahem Grafenwoehr) so I know a good hospital when I see one 🥹
Long weekend recap ❤️🤍💙 Photos 1&2: Lil Long weekend recap ❤️🤍💙 Photos 1&2: Lillie had her first day of zoo camp and came home absolutely knackered but loved telling me about all the animals she saw and friends she met. She says she loves waking up to Pikes Peak every morning from HER bedroom (aka mine) Photo 4&5: I planted my garden and worked outside practically all weekend ☀️ living for this warm weather and sunshine allllll day long
Happy 4th birthday to my real life princess Lillie Happy 4th birthday to my real life princess Lillie Belle 👑 she’s my little world traveler and German born baby. She’s had a passport since 3 months old and has already flown more times than the average person does in their entire life 😂 she’s sensitive, she’s observant & she’s my little shadow (when dads gone). She misses him so much it hurts!! We love her big time and I’m so glad god chose me to be her mom 🤍🩷
I posted earlier this week about sending my son to I posted earlier this week about sending my son to full time preschool (tots) and the comments I received were incredible. I had put so much pressure on myself to be a jack of all trades, when in reality I was barely surviving in all aspects of life…and it was literally making me sick and exhausted. I have felt immense relief at not having to cram everything in during naps and after the kids go to bed. Being a mother is hard and it’s important to remember that you can’t fill anyone else’s cup if your cup is EMPTY!! Especially when you’re solo parenting for a LONG time! Tag your favorite mama for this sweet reminder 🙌🏼 And thanks to my hubs for inspiring this reel and caption!
